Queer Automotive Theory and Practice

Are you tired of going to the mechanic in desperation and feeling dismissed/patronized? Do you feel lost when your car breaks down? Come join Jonathan Curtin for a course in automotive maintenance, repair, and theory. For one Saturday a month we will discuss and apply automotive theory in a safe space through a queer feminist lens. In addition to automotive science, we will address homophobia, transphobia, racism, and misogyny in the auto repair industry, learn to feel empowered through acquired skills, and feel more able to navigate the barriers present in the field.
